Borrow or rent a pipe bender and bend two pieces of metal to match profiles of two ends of your clawfoot tub. Lay two pieces together to create same manner as tub. Move closer or farther apart until shape is same size as bath. Cut two projecting ends of each piece so that can be coupled. Connect two pieces with two pipe connectors, creating a solid oval shape.
